I have been having two procedures done here for my upcoming Chemo, 1st of April and 2nd of April. I’m staying in Ward 4D. I have been in the hospital a lot, here and Caboolture……. I would like to say that the Nurse Yleiza Dalida (hopefully spelled right) has been absolutely wonderful. It is a delight to watch her interactions with other patients. She’s always smiling, genuinely caring. She seems very proactive noticing when help is needed without having to beg for it. She seems very organised and professional. I have to say that this young lady so far has been the best nurse I’ve ever encountered. Friendly in the evening, friendly again in the morning. Please take care of that young lady, it seems like nursing is her calling. Look after her

The radiation department was absolutely brilliant! Reception ladies, radiation nurses, all other nurses & Drs were so friendly & lovely. They were also absolutely brilliant! Love them all and thankyou for looking after me each day. Appointment times were always on track…. No waiting. Love & Miss you all. Thankyou ♥️

I’m 74. This is my sincerely compliment to Doctor O’Rourke. his team and Princess Alexandra Hospital. The surgical resection of cholangiocarcinoma has been done on 18th of May 2026. This saved my life. I feel good now. God bless them. I will always give my best wish to them.

On the 11th of April after being pushed back for surgery at the qe2 multiple times I ended up at the Princess Alexandra hospital to try my luck there as I had a laceration on my left index finger. Long story short is I was negligent to attend the hospital due to my nan passing away a few years prior in the ICU. Then again that had nothing to do with the hospitals duty of care. Basically I'm just shouting out the performance of two lovely nurses in ward 4A and the surgical team who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable fast and they kept me in the loop with every stage of my treatment I won't give last names but I really hope this gets back to them , Ella and Gene you truly are what any nurse should aspire to be and I really appreciate all your heartfelt care it was such a great experience oh and I can't forget Steve my neighbour in ward A what a bloke haha. Thank you again

My husband was in the emergency department and was treated with so much compassion and care. He was then transferred to level 5 for 4 days. The care and treatment he received was absolutely wonderful. The staff were so caring and amazing.

I had surgery on Friday and was discharged 4 days later. There are not enough words to show how much I appreciated the staff at this hospital from the surgeons and doctors who took time to sit and explain everything to me and answered any questions I had with confidence. To the anaesthetist who came and spoke with my husband to ensure him I was in safe hands. The surgeons who did an awesome job with my surgery and the ICU nurses who cared for me like a new born right after! Kat and Keon! Yall are God sent for real! Inspired me to want to be a nurse! I then went up to ward 4D for 3 days and the real care and love continued to show from the nurses there who took care of me, Kat, Meg, Bryn, Erin and another couple nurses I forgot the names one of them being a Filipino guy. All the nurse were so helpful and caring! Thank you for going above and beyond for me. Your work doesn’t go untouched especially cause this was my first time using the health care system in Australia. You’ve set the bar high for the rest of the country! May God continue to bless your hands and loved ones and may he provide strength for the work you do.

Recently a family member had an admission to the PA Hospital for elective surgery. From the moment the surgery was booked to discharge was an amazing experience. Every staff member was pleasant, organised, efficient, friendly and professional. We cannot thank everyone at the PA enough. Great experience and just had to let everyone know how amazing they all were. Our Qld hospitals are so often in the news for all the wrong reasons. Our experience was wonderful. Huge thank you.

Highly professional, efficient, kind and caring staff. My 79 year-old Mum just had major surgery. I could not think of a better hospital for her to be a patient of! The hospital is very clean and the staff are a true team.

Considering I always use the other main hospital but this was my first ever surgery, now I had a fair bit of concern about it but the teams there were absolutely amazing, friendly and funny! Even playing a practical joke when administrating the general anathesia (which a very good distraction to be fair lol) the whole thing was smooth, fast and the team helped me with everything and is highly recommended for anyone who may doubt the hospital as I once did, they are really fantastic and a huge thank you to them for doing such a freat job!

I can't thank the entire Radiotherapy team enough for the exceptional care I received throughout my treatment. A special thank you to the wonderful PA5 team—the radiation therapists, nurses, doctors, and psychologists—for your kindness, compassion, patience, and professionalism. You made a difficult journey so much easier and always treated me with respect and genuine care. I'd also like to thank the lovely evening receptionist ( Cynthia ) who always greeted me with a warm smile and words of encouragement. Your kindness brightened my day and made every visit feel a little less overwhelming. I am truly grateful to everyone who cared for me. Thank you for not only treating my cancer but also caring for me as a person. I will never forget your kindness. ♥️😍♥️💓💓💓💓💓
